Phase 1: Lake Isabelle
S, S2, and GC marched up to Lake Isabelle, amid herds of adventurers exploring the wilderness this late summer day. In Denver the temperature reached 95ºF, while the Indian Peaks had a much more manageable 70ºF, with a pleasant breeze to ward off at least some of the mosquitos.
Phase 2: Crosscut Pizza
Crosscut Pizza in Nederland, for meatballs, olives, and a pizza flavor called Carpenter (uncured pepperoni, castlevetrano olives, fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce). Turns out I like some kinds of olives.
