Autumn Equinox
Sunday, September 22, 2019 — Brainard/Long Lake
On a cloudless, cool Sunday afternoon, I wandered up to Brainard Lake to see what autumn hath wrought: so far, a few aspen have turned color, but generally they are still green (but fading).
After sunset, a moose trekked across the west side of the lake, and up to the road, much to the delight of the dozen cars and onlookers who stopped to take photos.
