Phase 1: South Boulder Creek West

Our cautious adventurers set forth, under Boulder’s looming “Stay at Home” order, on the relatively unpopulated route known as the South Boulder Creek West trail. Along the way we saw a total of nine people, mostly in groups of two, and as many dogs. Traffic along the nearby Highway 93 was almost non-existent.

The temperature had reached a high of about 72ºF this afternoon, but at the commencement of Phase 1 had dropped to about 60ºF, with a blustery wind.

Questions of the Night

  1. In which book of the Bible do the plagues appear?
    We’re pretty sure it’s Exodus.

Caveat Emptor.

As an “Essential Activity,” BNO Phase 1 is officially exempted from the shelter-in-place order, per the following: “Engaging in outdoor activity individually or in in groups of no more than four, as long as Social Distancing Requirements are adhered to, including walking, hiking, biking, or running.” Nevertheless we advise maintaining at least six feet between persons, and always perform the great handwash.
