Phase 1: Dry Creek Trail
A breeze, some clouds, and a little rain. C, D, and S wandered the Dry Creek Trailhead, encountering several pre-dedicated stone benches, and numerous dogs on their evening constitutionals. A mild and pleasant walkabout.
What is a pre-dedicated stone bench? In this case, it’s a block of stone with a cutout on one side, into which a metal or stone plaque could be inserted to identify the sponsor of the bench. None of the benches had a plaque; hence, they are pre-dedicated.
